07.12.2016, 16:46

Colonel Ludger Bette, Commander of the Wunstorf Air Force Base accepted representatives of Jagello 2000, main organizer of NATO Days in Ostrava & Czech Air Force Days. They had thus an opportunity to personally thank him for premiere public presentation of A-400M Atlas aircraft in Central and Eastern Europe, which took place in September at Leoš Janáček Ostrava Airport.

A-400M Atlas is the most modern European transport airplane, which is produced by Airbus. Aircraf belonging to the 62nd Air Transport Wing of the German Air Force was one of the highlights of this years NATO Days. It was also, at least by dimensions, the biggest contribution in presentation of Germany as the event's Special Partner Nation.

Zbyněk Pavlačík, Chairman of Jagello 2000, thanked the Commander and handed him a drawing of A-400M together with Eurofighter Typhoon, another extraordinary Luftwaffe's participant at NATO Days, who performed its this year's only dynamic display outside of Germany at Mosnov airport.

Jagello 2000 representatives could at the base also see two of five Luftwaffe's A-400Ms, however, the  aircraft that visited Ostrava was not present.
