Municipal Hospital will educate and measure the blood pressure

The Ostrava Municipal Hospital is returning among the NATO Days in Ostrava & Czech Air Force Days’ participants. Its presentation will include the practical examples of the first aid, the ambulance equipment or getting the blood pressure measured.

The professionals will inform the public about the details of saving someone’s life or how to do a heart massage. The practical examples of the first aid will be presented on figurine so the incomers may try the demanding resuscitation immediately.  Besides that, for those who will be interested, there will be a possibility to take a detail look at the defibrillator device. Furthermore, people can take the information leaflets so they will know what to do in the real situations.

“I am utmost glad that our health care facility can participate at this event and present its activities to the public. It is very important to pay attention on the education of the public in the first aid issue,” says the director of the Municipal hospital Ostrava Petr Uhlig.

Moreover, the employees of the hospital will measure the blood pressure to those who are interested in doing so and will of course provide help in case of emergency and health problems.
