The anniversary 15th NATO Days in Ostrava & Czech Air Force Days will be properly celebrated. The visitors can look forward to the richest programme of the dynamic displays ever altogether with the static displays, exclusive premieres and over one hundred of equipment.

Twenty one states will show off their air and ground equipment in the area of the Leoš Janáček Airport. This is the absolutely biggest participation since the first NATO Day in 2001. North Atlantic Treaty Organisation will also have a flag in Ostrava, due to the participation of the E-3A AWACS. Further, Germany has prepared the widest presentation in the concept of the Special Partner Nation with its 15 aircraft and over 50 equipment.

„This year’s NATO Days in Ostrava & Czech Air Force Days prepared unforgettable experience and number of exclusive premieres and records, we are certain that everyone can find something interesting: fans of aircraft, ground equipment or non-military security units. The event once again proves that it can offer new things every year,“ highlights Zbyněk Pavlačík, CEO of Jagello 2000.

The area of the static and dynamic displays of the Mošnov airport will be totally full. The aircraft static display will be enriched by the American bombers B-1B and B-52. The convertiplane CV-22B Osprey will have a hattrick. The aviation fans can also look forward for the small planes presentation, e.g. British Hawk of the Royal Navy. The Eurofighter Typhoons of the five European countries will contribute to the record and unique year. Thirteen Typhoons will arrive at the Mošnov airport, five for the dynamic display, four for the static display and the rest as spears.

This year’s Special Partner Nation, Germany, has prepared its largest presentation in the former Czechoslovakia. Altogether, the number of the German security and rescue services‘ members will be bigger than the number of the participants of the first NATO Day in Ostrava in 2001. The Saxon police, Task Force of the Custom Service, German Red Cross or the Federal Agency for the Technical Relief will represent the non-military units. And for the first time ever, the German Army will join the dynamic display of the Czech Army with its tank Leopard 2 and the armoured rescue vehicle Büffel.

The historic number of the bike storages belongs among the non-traditional records. The Ostrava Municipal Police will run three bike storages with the capacity over 9,000 bikes. These will be prepared for the visitors who will arrive on bikes.
