Saturday programme of NATO Days stays unchanged despite the morning rain

16.09.2017, 08:35

Although the venue of NATO Days in Ostrava & Czech Air Force Days woke up into rainy morning, visitors do not need to worry about any changes in today's programme of dynamic displays.

Skies above Mošnov airport may be currently clouded, nevertheless, the rain itself is coming to an end. Moreover, showers do not represent any decisive factor for dynamic displays. “Height of the clouds, visibility or wind gusts are such factors, which have been currently ideal. Dynamic displays will thus go as planned,“ says colonel Jaroslav Míka, the display director of NATO Days.

The only known change so far is the absence of Saab 32 Lansen of the Swedish Air Force Historic Flight, which should have arrived yesterday. “Due to technical failure of its chassis, participation of Saab 32 Lansen had to be postponed. However, we expect its arrival today and visitors will have a chance to see its premiere display at our show tomorrow,“ explains Zbyněk Pavlačík, the chairman of Jagello 2000.
