NATO Days in Ostrava start at Minikino and Knihcentrum

NATO Days in Ostrava & Czech Air Force Days 2014 will start again by the accompanying programme, which is an integral part of the event. Czech Television will screen at the coffee shop of the Minikino premieres of their documentaries on Thursday, then the pilots and the participants of the event will introduce themselves to the public at the Knihcentrum Bookstore on Friday.

"NATO Days in Ostrava & Czech Air Force Days are not limited to the main weekend show, but also offers a rich accompanying programme designed not only for schools, but also the general public. In this way we try to link security issues with other, equally important, areas, for example, history, "says Zbynek Pavlačík, Chairman of Jagello 2000.

During the programme Den s dokumenty will Czech Television screen the documentary There is no Charter without Androš from the series Underground Phenomenon planned for secondary school students. General public will have an opportunity to watch a preview of a new documentary series Report of Great War on the occasion of the anniversary of the Great War First World War starting at 5 pm. As a bonus, the Czech TV prepared a screening of the film War Horse directed by Steven Spielberg, which begins at 19:30.

On Friday, 19 September, 2014, there will be a possibility to meet crews of aircraft or other participants and discuss with them to learn more about their profession at the Dom knihy Knihcentrum.

"Many people have asked for the autographs of the participants. Unfortunately, it is difficult to organise it directly at the airport, but we would like to provide people with this opportunity to meet and possibly ask for an autographs our guests during the accompanying programme before the weekend show, " concludes Pavlačík.
