Another postponed premiere: the elegant Belgian Falcon 7X
At this year's NATO Days in Ostrava & Czech Air Force Days, a representative aircraft of the Belgian Air Force will be presented to the public for the first time in a static display.
In the past, visitors could repeatedly see dynamic displays of F-16 multirole fighter aircraft by the Belgian Air Force. However, for last year's event, Belgium has prepared a display of a completely different aircraft - a luxury business jet, which, as the pride of the Belgian Air Force, is used to transport members of the royal family, government officials, and members of European institutions. However, its debut was thwarted by the cancellation of the 24th NATO Days due to widespread flooding.
„The Falcon 7X is one of the best aircraft in its category and is often considered a model example of what a private business jet should look like,“ comments Zbyněk Pavlačík, Chairman of Jagello 2000.
This aircraft has already appeared at Leoš Janáček Ostrava Airport as part of NATO Days. However, it remained hidden from visitors as it served only as a support aircraft for Hungarian Air Force. It is manufactured by the French company Dassault Aviation, from whose workshops the famous Mirage 2000 and Rafale multirole fighter aircraft originate. It is designed to carry 12 to 16 people and its interior emphasizes maximum passenger comfort.
