Join the traditional vote for the best air display!

For the fifth time, spectators of the NATO Days in Ostrava & Czech Air Force Days will have the opportunity to decide who will receive the Mayor's Award for the best air demonstration of the event. The winner will again be determined by the voting of the fans on the Facebook profile of the city of Ostrava, the award will be presented to the winner at the end of Sunday's program by Mayor Tomáš Macura.

This year, NATO Days and the statutory city of Ostrava continue in the tradition of voting for the best air demonstration. And it is you who will decide which show will win this award! In recent years, you have chosen, for example, the Italian aerobatic group Frecce Tricolori or a pair of Czech pilots Ivo Kardoš and Martin Šonka for their unique joint demonstration of the supersonic fighter JAS-39 Gripen and aerobatic special Extra 300.

Due to the extraordinary circumstances of this year, it will be possible to vote from Friday, September 18, when photos capturing all planned flight demonstrations will be uploaded to the Facebook page of the statutory city of Ostrava. There, fans will be able to express their favour using the "Like" button next to the image with a demonstration. The show that gets the most "likes" will be the winner. The vote ends on Sunday, 20 September. The winner will receive a cup and a commemorative diploma directly from the hands of the Mayor of Ostrava, Tomáš Macura.
