Rich Czech Police Presentation: From Task Force to Dog Units
Moravian-Silesian Regional Police Headquarters will present both static and dynamic displays during this year‘s NATO Days in Ostrava & Czech Air Force Days. Moreover, Police also provides necessary security measures during the event.
„The Czech Police‘s dynamic displays are every year very catchy for the visitors, however we also perceive the role of Police during NATO Days as significant for providing smooth run of the event,“ appreciated Zbyněk Pavlačík from Jagello 2000. „Furthermore, the Polish police will help out during two out of three dynamic displays, thus you may watch the presentation of international cooperation, which is basically the main goal of this event.“
During the first dynamic display, the fictive terrorists, played by Czech Moravian-Silesian Regional Police Headquarters’ Task Force, will occupy the control tower and hold hostages, nevertheless their plans will be set back by Polish Special Anti-Terrorist Unit (SPAP) Katowice. The other dynamic display will focus on more common problem: violence in the public. The offenders will be arrested by the Moravian-Silesian Regional Headquarters Special Riot Unit altogether with Police Prevention Unit Katowice.
The variety of police work will be supported by Moravian-Silesian Regional Headquarters Dog Unit on so called „small display“. In the meantime, the dog handlers will be available to ask visitors’ questions.
The static display will be full of interesting items, including armament, equipment and some of the Special Riot Unit‘s vehicles as well as Motorcycle Unit’s ones. The visitors may also take a closer look to the special vehicle called Schengen Bus of Foreign Police department. The prevention and press police officers will be available on the police static display as well.
Already mentioned in the beginning, police also provides security measures during the two-day event, therefore the visitors may turn to police officers when having particular troubles. Experienced from the previous years, the police will be prepared for the lost children cases. In that situation, the child will be taken to the special blue tent with police flag in the VIP zone. Last but not least, the Traffic Police traditionally looks after a smooth traffic during arrivals and departures to the venue.
