Saab will be the general partner of the event for 2020-2022

After three years, the position of general partner of NATO Days in Ostrava & Czech Air Force Days has changed. The new contract was signed today by representatives of the organizers with officials of the Swedish company Saab.

The cooperation between Saab and NATO Days in Ostrava dates back to 2007, while Saab was already the general partner of the event in 2010 - 2016.

“When Saab became our partner for the first time, it was a one-day event held in the southern part of the airport. Our long-term cooperation has helped us to evolve into the biggest security show in Europe. Saab also provided program support to NATO Days, and thanks to his contribution, the Swedish Historical Squadron repeatedly presented itself at the Mošnov airport. I believe that his renewed position as a general partner will give further impetus to the development of the event,” says Zbyněk Pavlačík, chairman of Jagello 2000, the main organizer of the event. "At the same time, we would like to thank Aero Vodochody, which was a general partner in the past three years and which has attracted the attention of many foreign air force representatives at the event, thanks to the world public premiere of the L-39NG."

Saab is one of the world's leading suppliers of defence technologies and is best known in the Czech Republic for its JAS-39 Gripen fighter aircraft, which are part of the Czech Armed Forces armament and have successfully helped the Czech Air Force perform its tasks for the fifteenth year. However, the company's portfolio also includes many other top products, services and solutions ranging from military technology to civil security. Saab supplied the Czech Army with the anti-aircraft defence system RBS 70 and its latest generation RBS 70 NG, or the Arthur counter-battery radar system.

In the past, visitors to the event could also meet other aircraft produced by Saab, especially the machines of the Swedish Air Force Historical Flight - Viggen, Draken, Lansen, Tunnan or Saab 105, and the Swedish Air Force Saab 100 Argus equipped with an early warning system.
