The Customs Administration will intervene against the smugglers and present their history
Also this year, the Customs Administration has prepared a popular dynamic display for visitors to NATO Days in Ostrava & Czech Air Force Days in cooperation with the German Customs Administration. The static exposition will then present their historical development or seized counterfeit goods.
The Customs Administration of the Czech Republic is undoubtedly one of the traditional participants and this year it has prepared a demonstration of the activities of the Czech and German Customs Administration mobile surveillance patrols. Officers from both countries will jointly present a new mobile luggage X-ray in a dynamic demonstration through fictitious illegal transport and subsequent seizure of tobacco products near the border crossing.
At the D02 area, the service cynologists will present the training of their companions in the search for drugs, tobacco, alcohol, banknotes, CITES specimens and, last but not least, weapons and ammunition.
“The Customs Administration only proves the wide range of security forces involved in the event. We are pleased to welcome them to NATO Days again, and their German colleagues as well, ”says Zbyněk Pavlačík, Chairman of Jagello 2000.
Amongst the static displays, visitors will be able to see an exhibition from the time of the Financial Guard of the Czechoslovak Republic, seized counterfeit goods, illegally transported goods and specially protected specimens of animals and plants. The Customs Drug Unit will present a simulation of cannabis grow room, an illegal drug lab. Visitors can try the effects of drugs on humans through special glasses. A novelty this year is a mobile luggage X-ray, which will also be included in the dynamic demonstration. A large-capacity mobile X-ray machine and a large-capacity container for the transport of goods will be available for customers.
