"At the end of the year, the Czech JAS-39 Gripen aircraft participated for the third time in the protection of the airspace of Estonia, Latvia and Lithuania. We are pleased that the Lithuanian Air Force is returning to NATO Days in the same way as the Czech Air Force returns to the Baltic States," says Zbyněk Pavlačík, CEO of the Jagello 2000. "Lithuania is not only a traditional participant of our event, having missed a single year since its premiere in 2012, but it also confirms its participation typically among the first. It is also the only country that presents the AS-365 helicopter in our show."

Lithuania received multipurpose helicopters AS365N3+ Dauphin in 2015 and is the latest addition to the Lithuanian Air Force. It is used for a search and rescue missions and has been participating at NATO Days since 2016. The transport aircraft C-27J Spartan is also a modern aircraft and has been serving in Lithuanian forces since 2012. It was also the first year; the Lithuanian C-27J Spartan appeared at the show since then it became a regular participant.

The Baltic Air Policing Alliance mission secures the airspace of Estonia, Latvia and Lithuania. From September to December 2019, four Czech JAS-39 Gripen were involved in this mission, which operated from the Estonian base Ämari. Since February 2020, the task force of electronic warfare, consisting of soldiers of the 53rd Reconnaissance and Electronic Warfare Regiment, has been operating in Lithuania. It is included in the international battalion in the framework of the Alliance's advanced eFP presence.
