Rheinmetall joins the celebrations of the 20th anniversary of NATO Days

One of the main partners of this year's jubilee 20th NATO Days in Ostrava & 11th Air Force Days of the Czech Armed Forces is the German engineering corporation Rheinmetall. Among the products of its security and defence division belongs the Lynx armoured vehicle, which is one of candidates for the new acquisition by the Czech Army.

The current BVP-2 of the Czech Army are no longer able to meet the complex requirements that are nowadays placed on the systems of modern military vehicles. They must be flexible enough to be able to respond to future challenges and carry out a various range of missions. This can only be achieved with the modular family of vehicles, which is represented by the Lynx. Hungary, which recently confirmed the order for 218 of these vehicles, will soon have them in its service.
