Czech Police to present its abilities and international cooperation
Among the main organisers of NATO Days in Ostrava and Czech Air Force Days 2016 is the Police of the Czech Republic which considerably contributes both by securing the show and by providing displays of its own. This year they will take part in a unique demonstration of international cooperating over the course of which they will rescue a hijacked aircraft in a joint operation with a Jordanian female unit.
Almost as a rule of thumb, the intervention unit of the Regional Directorate of Moravian-Silesian Region would work in tandem with the anti-terrorism unit of the Polish Police in preparing the attractive displays of their actions. This year, however, they have prepared the first joint intervention with a Jordanian women’s commando.
Similarly, other dynamic presentations will also bear in the spirit of international cooperation – the units of Czech and Polish security forces stepping in to disrupt vandalism being a prime example.
„Our show aims at representing the international security cooperation and Police of CR with its partners are of notable help in achieving this goal. The presentation is not limited only to the dynamic spectacles, but also includes shared static displays of the German Saxon Police and its Czech counterparts from the Usti Region,“ says Zbyněk Pavlačík, chairman of Jagello 2000.
Canine specialists of the police force will be also present at the airport, presenting the training of their four-legged companions in the D02 area in the so-called "small dynamics". Those interested in seeing them outside the dynamic spectacles will have the opportunity to do so at the police exposition.
Exhibition of the police vehicles will be included as well. Last year's demonstration of vehicle drifting has met with notable success and therefore will return, along with traffic police who will showcase their service vehicles which drivers may encounter on the roads of the Czech Republic.
Firearms and equipment of both the Police force and its special order forces will be on a static display free for inspection. Visitors are also welcome to inspect the vehicles used for drifting and driving specifics demonstrations. Moreover, the department of Foreign Police of the Regional Directorate of the Moravian-Silesian Region has prepared for show a specially-modified vehicle, the so-called “Schengenbus”.
However, police help with maintaining the on-site and traffic order over the course of the show is the more important aspect of their presence. As with the previous years, this year they will be again taking care of the children lost at the show premises, who will be escorted to the blue tent in the VIP zone to wait for their parents or relatives.
