The Police of the Czech Republic is the second most important co-organizer of the NATO Days in Ostrava & Czech Air Force Days. In addition, it is one of the participants providing action-packed demonstrations.

The police are the second most important co-organizer of the whole event after the army. At the same time, however, they traditionally demonstrate preparedness for crisis situations at the event. This year, visitors can look forward to two great dynamic demonstrations.

"The Police of the Czech Republic is an integral part of the organization of NATO Days, when it oversees the maintenance of order in the area and the passability of roads around the airport," says Jagello 2000 Chairman Zbyněk Pavlačík. "Traditionally, it also presents popular demonstartions full of action and effects, which show their readiness to deal with crisis situations anytime and anywhere and thus protect our safety."

The intervention unit of the Regional Police Directorate of Moravian-Silesian Region, together with colleagues from Krakow, Poland, will face a difficult situation in which armed perpetrators seize a bus and hold passengers hostage. However, the police from the intervention unit are ready for this scenario, and they will release the hostages using a helicopter or an attack platform.

Also, the demonstration of the Alien Police will be full of action and tension. During it, the airport area and the runway will be disrupted by a suspicious vehicle. The police patrol is forced to intervene and there will be a shooting. However, during a search of the perpetrators' car, a suspicious object is found and a pyrotechnician is called to the scene. The overall inspection of the vehicle is then completed by the handler with his four-legged colleague.

Police officers from the Cynology Department of the Regional Directorate will be present at the airport on both days. Together with colleagues from the Regional Directorate of the Police Force in Žilina and their four-legged partners, they will solve various crises, such as interventions against dangerous attackers.

In addition to dynamic demonstrations, visitors can look forward to the exposition of a special law enforcement unit of the Regional Directorate of the Moravian-Silesian Region, where it will be possible to get acquainted with the technology and equipment of this unit.

As in previous years, the officers of the Regional Directorate will also be prepared for the situation when a child is lost. The central place of action of these police officers, together with representatives of other entities, will be a tent located directly on the area, near the commentator tower (a place of dynamic demonstrations).
