The Swiss Super Puma returns to NATO Days after eight years

Representatives of the Swiss Air Force will again visit NATO Days in Ostrava & Czech Air Force Days this year. At the Mošnov airport, the Super Puma Display Team will presents itself, which means also this year's first confirmed dynamic demonstration.

The AS332M Super Puma helicopter already performed at the Swiss premiere at NATO Days in 2012. The last time the Swiss Air Force took part at the event last year when it sent its largest deployment - the F / A-18 Hornet Solo Display and The PC-7 Team.

“Switzerland is not one of the traditional participants, so we are so pleased that for the first time it will it be here for two years in a row, and with such great displays. This year, NATO Days is also one of the only two foreign events, where the Swiss Super Puma will be performing, ” says Zbyněk Pavlačík, chairman of Jagello 2000. “Last year, we could see the display of Romanian IAR-330 Puma, so now we will have a chance to compare it with this aircraft successor."

The twin-engine helicopter AS332M Super Puma was developed by Aérospatiale and Eurocopter companies during the 1970s. These aircraft have excellent versatility and are used for the transport of people, material, or the search and rescue operations.
